As a nearby neighbor of the proposed application I am against the granting of such requested permit. The residential
house that was just purchased is not a commercial property and is not a suitable location for a daycare.
There is already a commercial Daycare not less then 150 feet from the current applications address. This daycare
currently services clients from morning till evening and car doors can be heard from 4:45am to 7:30 at night. The
daycare has a parking lot equipped with 20 spaces and still manages to have employees and parents park on the main
road and further congest the neighborhood. The amount of cars that travel to and from have lead to cars being
sideswiped and hit. One of my cars was totaled while parked in front of my house due to traffic from outside of our
neighborhood.
The proposed location is only equipped with a standard driveway capable of two cars. The adjacent neighbor owns 4
cars and already parks one in the street. The added congestion and impact of increased traffic due to parents running
late or impatient will lead to serious injury and or death. The proposed location is in a neighborhood that already sees
traffic from 3 other neighborhoods and a commercial daycare equipped with a parking lot. Allowing such permitting
would be disregarding the safety of others and placing the children and parents at risk. Multiple request for speed
bumps have been brought up in our HOA meetings and I would hate to think a child being hit is the reason one gets
erected.
The application is for a residential home to be converted into a business that it was not planned or intended for. It
would not positively impact the neighborhood nore would it provide adequate safety to the kids. It's floor plan is less
then optimal and would not allow easy access to emergency personal... The proposed residence is a two story building
with the majority of rooms upstairs. It limits exit points to either the front door sliding back door or a garage that I
presume would be closed. The residence has not been equipped with a fire suppression system to protect the children
and Throwing kids out a window would not be an option.
It is not in good form to allow such a permit and further investment in structure is needed and traffic and parking issues
should be researched
