Project Description
Construct a subdivision consisting of 50 units and 10 common lots on 17.73 acres
of land in the R-4 and R-8 zoning districts
Applicant Toll Southwest LLC
The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) reviewed the final plat application and has the following
comments:
1. This project does not abut the current State highway system.
2. The City is reminded that the US-20/26 (West Chinden Boulevard) corridor is already congested.
This project will increase the number of vehicle trips in this corridor. As the City continues to
add additional trips to these corridors through development, the congestion will worsen until the
roadway system is ultimately overloaded and fails.
3. Idaho Code 40-1910 does not allow advertising within the right-of-way of any State highway.
4. The Idaho Administrative Procedures Act (IDAPA) 39.03.60 governs advertising along the State
highway system. The applicant may contact Justin Pond, Right-of-Way Section Program
Manager, at (208) 334-8832 for more information.
5. ITD does not object to the construction of a subdivision as presented in the application.
