Application H-2019-0046 FP
Project Name WARRICK SUBDIVISION NO. 1
Project Location 2445 East Amity Road, east of SH-69 milepost 7.00
Project Description
Construct a subdivision consisting of 42 residential units and 8 common lots on
12.51 acres of land in the R-4 and R-8 zoning districts.
Applicant Schultz Development
The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) reviewed the referenced final plat application and has the
following comments:
1. This project does not abut the State highway system.
2. The City is reminded that the SH-69 corridor and I-84/Eagle Road interchange are already congested.
This project will increase the number of vehicle trips in these corridors. As the City continues to add
additional trips to the corridor through development, the congestion will worsen until the roadway
system is ultimately overloaded and fails. ITD has no current funding assigned to mitigate traffic
congestion in the SH-69 corridor and I-84/Eagle Road interchange.
3. Idaho Code 40-1910 does not allow advertising within the right-of-way of any State highway.
4. The Idaho Administrative Procedures Act (IDAPA) 39.03.60 governs advertising along the State
highway system. The applicant may contact Justin Pond, Right-of-Way Section Program Manager, at
(208) 334-8832 for more information.
