Dear Mr. Mokwa:
This letter is to confirm that the City of Meridian's City Council approved the Final Plat
application for the subject property at their Aprl|22,2008 meeting. Approval of the Preliminary
Plat shall be null and votd if the applicant fails to repord the
final plat within two years of the
approval of the preltminary plat per UDC I1-68-7A. In the event that the development of the
preliminary plat is made in successive phases tn an orderly and reasonable manner, and
conforms substantially to the approved preliminary plat, such segments, if submitted within
successive intervals of eighteen months, may be considered for final approval
without
resubmisstonfor preliminary plat approval per UDC 11-68-78

Jenny (and others) - I have reviewed the staff report w/ recommended conditions and discussed with the
developers. We have no issues other then a clarification related to General Condition #1. It is our intent
to tile the irrigation supply ditch along the South side of Lot 1, Block 1 and the drain ditch along the
Locust Grove frontage (East side of Lot 1, Block 1) once the overall pressure irrigation for the
Subdivision is constructed (Phase 2). Once the storage pond and the pump station are built the existing
ditches are to be re-routed and the two ditches discussed above are obsolete. We have discussed
this strategy with staff and sent staff a letter from the Kames Lateral President confirming their
acceptance of this strategy. We have no issue w/ General Condition #1, since that's our plan as well, but
want to make sure this doesn't slow down the approvals/signatures of the Phase 1 subdivision.
