I agree to operate rny horne occupation consistent with the standards set fbnh by the City of Meridian.
Those regulations are listed in the Unified Developnrent Code (UDC) Section ll-4-3.21 and include the
following:
In no way shall the honre occupation cause the prenrises to dilfer fronr ils residential character in
the appearance, lighting, signs, or in the ernission of noise, lirrnes, odors, vibrations. or electrical

'lhe honre occupation shall be conducted entirely in tlre dwelling, and not more than twenty five
percent (2-59lo) of the overall living area ol'said drvelling shall be used tbr a home occupation or for
storing goods associated rvith the home occupation. An attached garage nray be used lbr a home
occupation provided it shall not reduce the required olT street parking below the standard
established for that district and the area being used for the horne occupation is calculated to be no
greater than twenty five percent (25%) of the overall living area of the dwelling. (Ord. l6-1672.2-

No activity connected to the horne occupation ol any storage ofgoods, nraterials, or products
connected with a honre occupation shall be allorved in any detached accessory structure. (Ord. l4-

The homc occupation shall not ltave more than nvo (2) outgoing pick ups per day tiont a common
calrier.
The home occupation shall be conducted by the inhabitants of the dwelling, and no more than onc
nonresident employee shall bc pennitted.
The homc occupation shall not serve as a headquarters or main oftlce rvhere employees conre to
the site and arc dispatched to other locations.
No retail salcs shall be pernritted fionr the dwelling excepl the sale of: l) services or items
produced or fabricated on the premises as a resull ofthe home occupation: or 2) products
secondarily related to the personal service aspect ofthe home occupation; or 3) products sold
online that are delivered to customers by mail.
Ofl'strcet parking shall be provided as sct tbrth in scction -l-L"t(_J

All visits by clients, custonlers, and/or enrployees shall occur betrveen the hours ofeight o'clock
(8:00) A.M. and eight o'clock (8:00) P.M.
T'he honte occupation shall only be allorved as an accessot'y use to an allorvecl resiclential use.
