Dear Sonya: A geotechnical evaluation for the project site was performed by Materials Testing and Inspection with subsurface soil information summarized in their report dated August 23, 2013. MTI also performed groundwater monitoring of the project site from March 2018 through September 2018 with the results of those readings provided in their letter dated September 7, 2018. According to the reports, high groundwater can be anticipated at depths from approximately 4 -ft to 10 -ft below the existing ground surface. Based on the information provided in the geotechnical reports, the roadway finish grade centerline elevations were designed to be more than 3 -ft above the anticipated groundwater elevations.
