Applicant Wendy Shrief, JUB Engineers The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) reviewed the referenced final plat application and has the following comments: This project does not abut the State highway system. 2. ITD understands that ACHD has a Roadway Trust Fund in place to fund a signal at SH -69/ Harris Street/ Rumple Lane. This subdivision will connect the proposed subdivision and the surrounding subdivisions to Rumple Lane. The addition of more trips to the intersection may trigger a signal warrant. If a signal becomes warranted, ACHD shall be responsible to see that the signal is installed once warranted. ITD has not completed the corridor study for SH -69 and therefore has not determined if a signal constructed at this location would be permanent. 3. Idaho Code 40-1910 does not allow advertising within the right-of-way of any State highway. 4. IDAPA 39.03.60 rules govern advertising along the State highway system. The applicant may contact Justin Pond, Program Manager for ITD's Headquarters Right -of -Way Section at (208) 334-8832 for more information. 1pAHp Your Safety • Your Mobility IDAHO TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT x P.O. ITD does not object to the construction of a subdivision consisting of 32 residential units as presented in the application contingent on ACHD assuming responsibility for ensuring the signal is installed once it has become warranted.
