I urge you to vote "yes" on Linder Village on Tuesday, December 18th. The Winco will bring needed competition to the Linder/Chinden area, as well as many needed entry-level and higher jobs in an employee -owned company. The developers have worked hard to incorporate changes based on resident and P&Z feedback. The only thing that would make the residents any happier is if the project isn't built—and that would constitute what I believe to be an unfair burden on the owners of the acreage, which is commercially zoned. I also look forward to the road improvements at this intersection, which the developers have agreed to make. I may not live in Meridian, but I pay sales tax in Meridian, and right now I am paying sales tax to Eagle when I shop at Winco. I look forward to shopping at my brand-new Winco and contributing to Meridian's bottom line.
