Subject: Last Night’s City Council Meeting 11/20/18
Luke, I had the chance to attend my first city council meeting last night. I enjoyed my experience and was also taken
back a little by some of the comments made by residents on the Timber Creek Recycling.
This was the first I have heard of Timber Creek Recycling. After hearing all of the negative comments about this site, I
went and investigated it myself. Well, I’m not sure where the residents were talking about because they made it sound
like this facility was directly in a neighborhood. It’s anything but that.
I am assuming that you have another job on top of being a city council member because I would like to grab a cup of
coffee to discuss further my concerns and findings.
I have two videos I took this morning, on my way to work, and will try to send to you. The first one is heading south on
Locust Grove to Columbia. The second is from the intersection of LG and Columbia heading west on Columbia.
