Restrict all tenant delivery and operating hours to those that respect the center's residential neighbors. 2. Require a different road design to discourage using Paramount as a cut -through to the commercial area. 3. Require traffic calming measures with prominent signage at access points. As you are aware, we have a dangerous scenario in South Meridian on one of our collector streets, which is the only elementary school route. Children's safety should not be put at risk for the convenience of drivers. 4. Require all ITD and ACHD suggested road improvements that would accommodate Phase 1 be completed PRIOR to the opening of any stores. 5. Require the developer to break up the Mid -Anchor stores to comply with UDC standards and minimize the appearance of a "strip" center. 6. Require the UDC standard for residential use (the current plan falls short by 7 acres). 7. City Council withhold its approval of this application until the ACHD traffic report and an updated conceptual plan that reflects accurate road improvements can be submitted, reviewed and considered by residents (and City Council); 8. Maximum light and sound mitigation measures be required and included in the DA. 9. Council require an effective solution for each and every concern expressed by Staff and the Police and Fire departments. Linder Village will set an important precedent for all commercial development in Meridian. Let's take time to get this right. As you know, the Coalition believes the City must elevate all development beyond the mundane so that we create a city with legacy neighborhoods and gathering spaces. This can be accomplished at Linder Village with the very few revisions listed above. Warm regards, Susan M. Karnes
