Meridian City Council Special Meeting October 16, 2018
The Meridian City Council special meeting was called to order at 5:02 PM on
Tuesday, October 16, 2018 by Tammy de Weerd, Mayor.
Members Present: Genesis Milam, Treg Bernt, Anne Little Roberts, Luke Cavener
and Joe Borton
Staff Present: C.Jay Coles, Bill Nary.
Item 1. Roll-call Attendance:

Item 2. Adoption of the Agenda:
Borton: I move to adopt the Agenda as published
Cavener: Second.
De Weerd: A motion and a second to approve the amended agenda. All those in
favor say aye.
ALL AYES. MOTION CARRIED.
Item 3.
Executive Session per Idaho State Code Section 74-206(1)(a): To
consider hiring a public officer, employee, staff member or individual
agent, wherein the respective qualities of individuals are to be evaluated
in order to fill a particular vacancy or need and 74-206(1)(d): To consider
records that are exempt from disclosure as provided in Chapter 1, Title
74, Idaho Code.
Borton: I move we go into Executive Session as per Idaho State Code Section 74-
206(1)(a)(d).
Cavener: Second.
De Weerd: It has been moved and seconded to go adjourn into Executive Session.
All those in favor?

Into Executive Session at 5:03 pm
Out of Executive Session at 6:00 pm
Borton: Council, we are going to go ahead an come out of Executive Session if there
is a motion to do so.
Cavener: Mr. President, I move we adjourn the Executive Session.
Milam: Second.
Borton: It has been moved and seconded to come out of Executive Session. All
those in favor?
ALL AYES. MOTION CARRIED.
Borton: Is there a motion to adjourn
Cavener: I moved we adjourn our pre-council meeting
Milam: Second.
Borton: A motion and a second to adjourn. All in favor.
ALL AYES. MOTION CARRIED.
