I feel so lucky to have stumbled upon this city after graduating from university and now raising my two daughters here. I appreciate all the time that city officials, developers, and community members have spent on the Linder village development. I’m excited to see the possibility of a library added to the newest proposal, as well as developer changing the location of the Winco loading dock. I would like to voice concern over the development having a road connecting to the Paramount subdivision. I do not want any neighborhood to experience increased traffic due to commercial property on the outside. I would also request that the city hold Winco responsible for accommodating the residential properties in the same ways the Costco on 10 mile is doing by requiring Low facing lights, earth tone exterior with aesthetically pleasing facade, and limited delivery hours. Additionally, I am concerned over the square footage of the buildings proposed to the left of Winco (near Linder) and request the city require more green space between them to help breakup the size. These large scale developments play such a pivotal role in the the way the sense of community will develop in Meridian. Thank you for your consideration. Wendy Fisher
