A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN PURSUANT TO
THE SEWER ORDIANCE AT CHAPTER 4 OF TITLE 9 AND THE WATER ORDINANCE AT
CHAPTER 1 OF TITLE 9 OF THE MERIDIAN CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN
ESTABLISHING FEES AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
SECTION 1: WHEREAS, THE City Council finds:

It is necessary to establish certain fees to reimburse the Public Works Department for
costs and expenses incurred in providing sewer and water service; and
It is necessary to update the water assessment and wastewater assessment fees; and
The City Council for the City of Meridian, Idaho, has held a public hearing to review
proposed fees to be charged by the Public Works Department; and
The City Council for the City of Meridian, Idaho, has determined that said fees are
necessary for the preservation of the health, peace and safety of the citizens of the City of
Meridian.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, IDAHO:
SECTION 1:
The Schedule of Fees, which is attached hereto as Schedule 1, is hereby adopted.
SECTION 2: EFFECTIVE DATE: The effective date for the new charges pertaining to the
