Subject: Proposed Owyhee High School -- City Council Meeting tonight
To Whom It May Concern,
I have researched the new proposed Owyhee High School that is going before the City Council tonight and
would like to voice my opinion. I know that West Ada School District is in desperate need of a new high
school, but I believe that it needs to be built in the right location in the correct way. I would recommend that
the City Council denies West Ada's application until an agreement can be made about the division of
services between Ada County and the City of Meridian. I also think that the high school should have at least
two entrances/exits for safety purposes.
Please consider the safety of our children in your decision. We all want them well educated, happy, and
safe. A new high school is important, but it needs to be built correctly to protect the safety of our students
and staff.
