Subject: Owyhee High School Denial
To Whom It May Concern:
Please approve the Owyhee High School. This school is very needed in the West Ada School District and it
will alleviate crowding at THREE high schools. These current high schools are overcrowded due to the
planning and zoning approving subdivisions one after the other. These overcrowded schools are going to
continue to grow, increasing the overcrowding each year.
This school will be ahead of the growth! Something that is not done right now. It seems we are always
playing catch up. Whether we are trying to convert country roads into 5-lane roads to hold the increased
traffic or building new schools to educate the children that are moving into the area. We need to be more
proactive and create an infrastructure before we approve the growth. Stop approving subdivisions until the
infrastructure is created.
The Owyhee School needs to be approved so that the West Ada School District can continue to play catch
up and try to keep up with the planning and zoning approval of subdivisions.
Sincerely,
Carley Pickett
