Hello,
I heard that the Meridian P and Z Commission recommended the denial of the West Ada School District’s application to annex
the Owyhee High School site into the City of Meridian. I do not agree with denying the school district of this. The city of Meridian
has allowed thousands of new homes to be built and the current schools are not able to keep up with the increase in population.
Almost all of the schools in the district are at or over capacity so the need for this high school (and any other schools) is dire. Thank
