Hello,
My name is Heather Witt, and I am a resident of Meridian and the parent of three daughters in the West Ada
School District. I am writing to express my support for the approval of the Owyhee High School proposal.
I have combed through the reputable sources I could find, and the issues that have been brought up that
resulted in the Planning and Zoning Commission's recommended application denial seem to be resolvable. I
know I do not need to go over the school district's current circumstances, you all know ho w overcrowded the
high schools are already (and the safety and educational concerns that go along with such overcrowding). I
believe that Owyhee High School's current site location makes sense for the district's growth and that the
Council should approve the project's completion.
