FOR PROGRAM YEAR 2017 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS
This FIRST AMENDMENT TO SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF
MERIDIAN AND ADA COUNTY HOUSING AUTHORITY FOR PROGRAM YEAR 2017
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS is entered into this q 5 day of
2018 by and between the City of Meridian, a municipal corporation organized under the
laws of the state of Idaho ("City") and Ada County Housing Authority, a public body corporate and
politic established under the laws of the state of Idaho ("Subrecipient").
WHEREAS, on January 9, 2018, City and Subrecipient entered into a Subrecipient Agreement
Between City of Meridian and Ada County Housing Authority for Program Year 2017 Community
Development Block Grant Funds ("January 9, 2018 Agreement"), a cooperative agreement for the
investment of Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG") funds from Program Year 2017; and
WHEREAS, Subrecipient needs more time to complete the activities funded by CDBG funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants of the parties contained herein
and in the January 9, 2018 Agreement, the Parties agree as follows:
I. Provision modified – Time of performance. Section I.E of the January 9, 2018 Agreement shall
be amended to read as follows:
E. Time of performance. Services of Subrecipient shall start on or before October 1, 2017 and
end on December 31, 2018. The term of this Agreement and the provisions herein shall be
extended to cover any additional time period during which Subrecipient remains in control of
CDBG funds or other CDBG assets, including program income.
II. All other provisions in effect. Except as expressly modified by this First Amendment or other
duly executed addenda, all provisions of the January 9, 2018 Agreement shall remain in full force
and effect. No other understanding, whether verbal or written, shall be deemed to enlarge, limit or
otherwise affect the operation of the January 9, 2018 Agreement or this First Amendment thereto.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties shall cause this First Amendment to be executed by
their duly authorized officers to be effective as of the day and year first above written.
