To Whom it May Concern:
I received an email yesterday informing me of Meridian P and Z denying the permits to build the
DESPERATELY needed high school in Meridian. This seems ridiculous as new subdivisions are popping
up left and right in Meridian, a lot of time seemingly with little regard of the impact it will have on over
crowding of schools in our area. I, along with many neighbors, purposely voted YES to the latest bond
measure to ensure that our children will have the adequate resources needed to succeed in their educational
career. The location of the proposed high school is perfect in my mind, as it is still on the outskirts of the
major commuter roads, yet close enough that the majority of new students are within easy distance by
bike/car/etc. and not relying on school transportation. Please reconsider this as a gift to our community in
allowing this high school to be built for the hundreds of kids needing it by investing in their future instead of
looking at it as a no revenue project for the city.
