To Whom It May Concern:
My name is Sarah Birch, I currently have 4 children in the West Ada School district attending Rocky
Mountain High school and Ponderosa Elementary (2 kids at each school).
We (every neighbor and friend I've talked to since the proposal) were THRILLED to hear of the new
proposal of Owyhee!! Finally the district(and hopefully city) is planning ahead of the massive population
growth rather than constantly playing catch up! The location is ideal as it is a perfect medium right where
the growth is and massive future growth is currently under construction. Our church has new families
constantly introduced each week probably about 5 FAMILIES per week. This area is such a great location
and we highly support this new high school and its location! The public votes have also been in favor of the
need and location has been carefully considered by so many involved and invested parents and citizens of
the community.
Please consider doing all we can and reaching out to us for any needs or concerns but please know we and
our neighbors as well STRONGLY support and encourage the Owyhee HS plans to continue forward
immediately!
