Hello my name is Meichell Grimes and I have 3 kids in the West Ada School District. My son is a little
special needs and attends Desert Sage. His class sizes are around 25 and a little overwhelming. I'm not sure
how he will handle it once he goes into middle school.
I have a boy that just started high school this year and attends Mountain View. His freshman class alone sits
around 1700 students. Its hard for him to get the help he needs in order to pass his classes. He won't attend
dances or other activities because its so much chaos.
The schools are so over crowded that you can barely move through the halls. Our children can't learn to the
beat of their ability like this. We are teaching our next generation and hopefully one day they will be running
the country. We need to make sure they have the best possible learning environment so that they can and do
succeed.
I fully support the new school being built. We need it and our kids deserve it.
