To the Meridian City Council,
My name is Janet Pollock and I live in Star, ID. I currently have an 8th grader and a 6th grader in middle school in
Eagle (Galileo K-8).
I am so pleased that the application for building this new high school has been denied! The proposed location of the
school is very difficult to get to, especially since there are no direct routes to the school from Star. In addition, when
Star Middle School was initially voted on through a school bond, it was planned to have a high school on the same
campus. The new proposed location makes no sense for students in Star.
I fully support the City Council denying approval and requiring the school district to find a more suitable location.
