As the future parent of a Rocky Mountain High School student, I am interested to hear what the Planning and Zoning
Commission has planned to do to address overcrowding issues created by its own commission. I was shocked to
hear the many reasons given to deny the school district’s request to build. Based on all of the constant development
and building taking place, all of that area WILL BE developed and need fire, police, roads, services, etc. Certainly, I
would expect the P and Z to work closely with the school district to ensure that a new high school is built in
accordance to district plans.
It appears you want to build, build, build...but not a school.
Sincerely,
Samantha Purcell
