To Whom it may concern:
I have three kids who are headed to Rocky Mountain High School in the next few years. We see new kids move into
my children’s classes regularly. Last year my son had 6 new kids move into his grade alone! I am sure this is not the
exception because I see a lot of growth happening in the empty fields near my home. They are filling up with
houses at an alarming rate. I am concerned about how many more kids these new homes will bring. Overcrowded
schools bring bigger classroom sizes which decrease teacher’s time for individual instruction. Watching the growth in
my surrounding neighborhood concerns me greatly and I am really hoping that the city council can approve the
Owyhee High School. Please help our students receive the best education possible and approve the new High School.
