Dear C. Jay:
Nampa & Meridian Irrigation District (NMID) has no comment on the Meridian sewer and
water line easement vacation.
However, NMID has a pressurized irrigation main line. This mainline is four inches (4") on
the north boundary and six inches (6") on the east boundary.
This mainline has a ten -foot (10') easement, five feet (5') from the centerline to each side. The
mainline is owned and operated by NMID and must be protected.
All private laterals and waste ways must be protected. All municipal surface drainage must be
retained on-site. If any surface drainage leaves the site, NMID will need to review drainage
plans. The developer must comply with Idaho Code 31-3805.
