Dear City Council:
I am vehemently opposed to this use in this location. The original development agreement to slip this
property in as a recycling center should have never been allowed in first place. Secondly, the request
for expansion of this facility in a residentially zoned area is craziness. I am a developer myself and
again…..this should have never been allowed – it was improperly noticed in the first place and it should
be given a “sunset” provision to be moved.
It creates obnoxious noise, smell, dust, etc. This is a heavy industrial use and I even hear and smell the
property and I am ¾ of a mile away.
I ask you to not only deny this expansion request I request that you immediately terminate this
inappropriate use in this location – I believe the City, for whatever reason, made a mistake in the first
place.
