The follow/rig are the mquh'ements to provide miniramn fire protection:
1. Provide a fire-flow as required by the 1997 Unifoms Fire Code Appendix III-A. Please show all
proximity hydrants wittfin 500~ of the project on the resubmitted plat.
2. All entrmlces and internal muds shall comers with a nummunl of a 28' reside radius and 48'
outside radius.
3. The proposed buildings & uses shall comply with the i997 Unifoim Fire Code.
4. Acceptance of water supply for fa*e pmtectiun is contingent upon acceplunce of the water system
by die City of Meridian for w~ter quality.
5. Final approval of fire hydrant locatious shall by the Fire Department.
6. The roadways shall be built to Ada County Highway Standards and shall have a clear drivh~g
sm'face which is 20' wide. UFC 902.2.1
7. Provide an approved turn around for any slreet, which exceeds 150' in length as a result of the
phasing of the project.
8. The proposed 54-1ot subdivision will have an unknown transient populatian and will have an
undetemfined impact Meridian Fire Depamnent call volumes. According to a report completed by
Fire &Ernergency Services Consulting Group hi February of 2000 our requests for service are
projected to reach 2800 in the year 2005 and 3800 by the year 2010, this is up from 2069 responses in
the year 2000.
9. Ail fuel dispensing and fuel storage will have to meet the requiremants of the Uniform Fire
Code.
10. All building uses and occupancies Mil have to meet thc separation requiremeuts of the
Uniform Building Code.
