As I've stated in regard to the previous application by TMEG for the adjacent land to the south, we're grateful
for their willingness to listen to the original concerns from residents regarding the plan for additional multi-
family units on the Paramount block and for coming back with new plans that provide community-oriented
services without negatively impacting the existing residents' quality of life. This development (H-2018-0067),
as proposed today, will be a great addition to Meridian City and the Paramount neighborhood.
I only wish other developers with interest in the Paramount block were as transparent, honest, and
communicative as TMEG has been for this development. A new portable classroom was just added to Heritage
Middle school, and projected overpopulation numbers continue to outpace school construction even without
additional multi-family units added to the neighborhood. I ask that you make this a cornerstone point in any
decisions around new development at Paramount.
