The Public Works Department respectfully requests the following. item be placed on the
February 8 City Council agenda, under Consent Agenda, for Council's consideration:
Centrate EQualization Project- Five bids were received for this project as summarized below
and detailed in the attached spreadsheet:

. Performance Systems, Inc $481,302
. Challenger Companies, Inc $494,612
. Guho Corporation $548,000
. ICON Corporation $559,000
The project consists of construction of cast-in-place concrete centrate pump station, with two
new (Moyno) progressive cavity pumps, including electrical and controls, and a bolted steel
centrate equalization tank with aluminum dome cover, submersible mixer, miscellaneous
equipment, appurtenances, electrical and controls.
Recommended Council Action: The Public Works Department recommends
that City Council approves the contract for the Centrale Equalization Project
with RSCI for $474,065 and authorize the Mayor to sign it.
