Broadway, Suite 104 Meridian, ID 83642 RE: Mike Murgoitio, Timber Creek Recycling application I am submitting this letter regarding the application H-2018-0042 by Michael Murgoitio and voicing my opposition to the proposal based on the following: The proposal is inconsistent with the zoning of the property (R4 – low to medium residential) Reduced property values for the properties surrounding Timber Creek Recycling, and mine directly on the line of said application 740 E Columbia Rd. I, as all my neighbors have, spent hundred of thousands of dollars on my property in an agriculture community and do not agree that this “Recycling” dump is fit for the area, zoning, or as my direct neighbor as proposed. Quality of life issues (Dust, Noise, Odor, appearance, safety issues both fire and potential water poison) Increased Traffic to our community. They way this is proposed is that unlimited amounts of traffic will be allowed with increase of unlimited dump trucks, retail traffic and construction disposal. Increase in pests (flies, mosquitoes, rodents, etc.) These are bad enough as is and with an expansion of the waste facility to include food waste, it will be overwhelming for our families and our pets and livestock. Potential for insects to carry diseases to residents and livestock on neighboring properties Potential toxins leaching into water systems in all our wells FULL SERVICE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT SINCE 1985 Potential fire hazard and lack of proposed plan. Lack of definition and insurance of oversite to all the above-mentioned concerns. Mr Murgoitio has been nothing but shady in his attempts to get this passed and inform us of his true intent. His lack of proper notification to neighbor and using the city line to his advantage by not having to include surrounding neighbors listed in Kuna until cought and definition of his business plan and future use have been lacking and downright fabricated in his attempts to bluff the neighborhood into a peaceful mindset of his operation. I purchased and moved my family out here to enjoy the peaceful country environment and am now being threatened with a ‘Dump” facility literally on my properties edge. The entire community is in an up roar over this application and have been frantically fighting against this. I respectfully request that the commission deny this application.
