Watertower, Suite 202 Meridian, ID 83 642 Dear Kristy, Attached please find our sign permit application for Rocky Mountain Financial Group located in the Paramount Village Center. There is an established Planned Sign Program (PSP) for this development. While our application may differ slightly from the filed program, we do feel that it meets the intent of said program and does meet all applicable Meridian City Sign Ordinances. We have outlined specifics below: • Rocky Mountain Financial Group will be occupying 100% of the #1524 Building and is entitled to two signs (per the PSP). We are applying for two. • Due to the fact that they are occupying this complete building, the sign locations do differ from those shown in the PSP. These locations have been chosen to balance signage on the building and to identify that there is only one tenant in this building. • Sign letters are of a material acceptable to the PSP. • The PSP in itself is contradictory in certain areas pertaining to letter height and allowable sign square footage. We have already discussed that, Black Helvetica not being a part of the city code, is not necessary to comply with. The lettering height specified in the PSP is 8" yet allows for a display height of 18". Our display heights on the south elevation are 10" and on the west elevation it is 18". We feel that this meets the intent of the PSP. • Sign display length on the PSP has been capped at 14' per display. This was obviously done to allow two tenant signs per elevation. We are using one sign per elevation and on the south side the length of the display is 26'6" which is less than what two displays could potentially occupy (28') and on the west side it is 11'3 " which does meet this criteria literally. • Both signs occupy a space well below the 9% of the building elevation allowed per tenant by both the PSP and city code. In conclusion, Kristy, we do feel that this application meets the intent of the PSP, the criteria set forth by the PSP, and all applicable City of Meridian Sign Ordinances.
