♦ SIGN/LITE0120v units are U/L recognized outdoor sign components. Their light output is about equal to 4 rows
ofwhite 15min neon tubing or H/O fluorescent lamps. SIGN/LI`I`E6 units COME COMPLETELY ASSEMBLED,
READY FOR INSTALLATION. They are shipped, at no extra charge, with mounting scrcvAjs, a. 10,000-20,000hr
41k-C/W twin -tube super bright I.1/O equivalent compact fluorescent lamb, and snaplock electrical connectors
(no wire stripping required).
♦ SIGN/LITE* units are shipped in the horizontal configuration and are primarily used for single-faecd applies-
tions. However, they are easily hand bent adjusted to a vertical coil i(Turation for a double-faced application or an

♦ \k'hen SIGN/LITER units are installed in a sign or letter with a plastic sign -face material, UMYR2 rated or
equivalent, they may be wired with exposed wiring. You do not need any wire coverings, flex conduit, behind -the -
wall transformer cans, or secondary wiring.
♦ You may want to cover your wiring in an enclosure. SIGN/LITEV 13 v%rt units fit in a standard 2" x 4" x 1 '/a°
Imockout electrical utility box which you may obtain from any electrical supply house. You may order a two-piece,
special die cut, SIGN/LITEG3) box cover from SIGN/LITES Inc.
♦ Letters and signs made with SIGN/LITEX7) units may be easily shipped with no costly breakage and may be
installed by any electrician. If a mounting raceway is required, it may be as thin as one inch with no internal
structure since it carries only the 120v primary wiring.
♦ SIGN/LITEV units will start in temperatures as low as 0 degrees. Once started, they will work below 0 degrees.
♦ SIGN/LITER units work well for outdoor sign retrofits. On the job installation is fast and easy because it is an
off-the-shelf item.
♦ SIGN/LITL.(?R units work well in combination of straight .WO c/w fluorescent lamps and SIGN/LITEV units for
S/F or D/F irregular shaped signs. They work well in outdoor ground entrance and exit signs.

SIGN STANDARDS
These sign standards must be conformed to by all tenants and owners. Compliance to
these standards will be enforced and non -approved signs must be removed or replaced at
the expense of the tenant or owner that has installed them.
Sign Approvals
1. All signs must have permits from the City of Meridian and conform to all building and
electrical codes.
2. All tenants must have Owner approval of their design prior to installing any signs.
Wall Sign Design
1. Signs shall be permitted a maximum square footage of I- /o of the wall elevation
area calculated by wall height times width.
2. Signs shall have a maximum length of 75% of wall fascia width.
3. No exposed conduit, brackets, fasteners or wiring will be permitted.
4. Signs shall be metal with channel letters mounted on a raceway or individual
letters. Background panels are acceptable. Internally illuminated signs are
acceptable.
5. Each tenant is allowed to have a sign on the wall of the building. This allows
more than (1) sign on each side of the building.
Monument Sign Design
1. Each parcel shall be allowed a single monument sign along the frontage of their
property.
2. Monument sign shall not exceed 70 square feet of background panel area.
3. Monument sign shall not exceed 10 foot height.
4. Each tenant may be allowed to have designation on the monument sign
Common Area Pole Sign
1. The common area pole sign shall have a maximum of 25 feet in height.
2. The common area pole sign shall have a maximum of 150 square feet of sign
panel on each side of the sign.
3. There shall be (6) sign panel allotments and each allotment owner shall pay for
1/6 of the cost of constructing, maintaining and operating the sign.
4. Each allotment panel space will be 1/6 of the total square footage of the sign
panel and may have multiple tenants within the allotted space.
5. Each allotment owner shall be required to supply and maintain its own sign fascia.
6. The design and location of the common area pole sign shall be agreed upon by a
majority of the allotment owners.

Ree Approved Sign Program for Treasure Valley Sub. 1
Superior Signs submitted a Planned Sign Program Application for the tenant located in Treasure Valley
Sub. 1 covered under CUP -02-036. This letter outlines my review and approval notes of the Planned
Sign Program.
The number and types of approved signage are as follows:
Center Signs
No center signs were approved with the Planned Sign Program application for this project. The
applicant would like a future center sign in common area on the corner of E. Fairview Ave. & N. Eagle
Road. All future signs will require sign permits.
Wall Signs
• Future tenant signs will require separate sign permits.
• Future proposed wall signs must be consistent with each other in design per the approved lease
agreement pertaining to signs.
• In no circumstance shall the combined wall sign background area be allowed to exceed 9% of a
single wall face.
Free-standing Signs
• One free-standing 3 -tenant sign was approved with this application for Millstone Marketplace
• In addition to the future center sign, a free-standing sign is allowed for each building in the
development. No sign shall exceed 10 feet in height and background area of 70 square feet.
Sign Setbacks
The setback for free-standing signs shall be minimum one foot from the front property line and five-foot
setback from the side property line.
All future and proposed signage must be in compliance with UDC 11-3D.
