This project does not abut the current State highway system. 2. This subdivision is separated from the future alignment for SH-16 by existing McDermott Road. SH-16 at this location will be a full access controlled highway. McMillan Road will not have access to the SH-16 corridor. A structure will connect McMillan Road east and west of the new SH-16 alignment. 3. ITD has been working with the developer of the Oaks West Subdivision located east of North McDermott Road and south of West McMillian Road, east of the proposed new alignment for SH-16 to assure that adequate setbacks will be provided to allow for the future construction of the SH-16/McMillian crossing. 4. Idaho Code 40-1910 does not allow advertising within the right-of-way of any State highway. 5. A cul-de-sac is planned for McDermott Road on each side of its current intersection with McMillian Road. Applicant will need to be aware of the impact the future cul-de-sac will have on parcels located along McDermott Road in this area. ITD is willing to consider options presented by the applicant that will maintain access to drainage features and allow for maintenance of the structure. 6. IDAPA 39.03.60 rules govern advertising along the State highway system. The applicant may contact Justin Pond, Right-of-Way Section Program Manager, at (208) 334-8832 for more information.
