RE: H-2018-0033 CUP PARAMOUNT SELF-STORAGE
The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) has reviewed the conditional use permit application by Brighton
Corporation for Paramount Self-Storage requesting approval to establish a self-storage facility on 3.56 acres of
land in a C-G zoning district on a parcel located west of North Meridian Road and north of East McMillan
Road, south of US-20/26 (West Chinden Boulevard) milepost 38.23. ITD has the following comments:
1. This project does not abut the State Highway system.
2. IDAPA 39.03.60 governs advertising along the State highway system. The applicant may contact
Justin Pond, Program Manager for ITD’s Headquarters Right-of-Way Section at (208) 334-8832 for
more information.
3. Idaho Code 40-1910 does not allow advertising within the right-of-way of any State highway.
4. ITD does not object to the establishment of a self-storage facility on the parcel as presented in the
application.
