The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) has reviewed the referenced modification to an existing
development agreement by Brighton Corporation requesting a modification to an existing development
agreement to allow for self-storage uses on the property and to modify certain other provisions of the
development agreement for a parcel located west of East Meridian Road and north of East McMillan Road,
south of US-20/26 milepost 38.21. ITD has the following comments:
1. This project does not abut the State highway system.
2. Idaho Code 40-1910 does not allow advertising within the right-of-way of any State highway system.
3. IDAPA 39.03.60 governs advertising along the State highway system. The applicant may contact
Justin Pond, Program Manager for ITD’s Headquarters Right-of-Way Section at (208) 334-8832 for
more information.
4. ITD has no objection to a modification to an existing development agreement to allow for self-storage
uses on the property and to modify certain other provisions of the development agreement.
