HomeMy WebLinkAboutPZ - ITD Reply April 24, 2018 C.Jay Coles Meridian City Clerk’s Office 33 East Idaho Avenue Meridian, Idaho 83642 VIA EMAIL RE: H-2018-0031 CAVALRY CHAPEL MERIDIAN The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) has reviewed referenced conditional use permit applications by Calvary Chapel Meridian requesting approval for a Calvary Chapel church on 8.36 acres of land in the I-L Zoning District on a parcel located at 3600 West Nelis Avenue, west of US-20/26 milepost 36.02. ITD has the following comments: 1. This project does not abut the State highway system. 2. Idaho Code 40-1910 does not allow advertising within the right-of-way of any State highway system. 3. IDAPA 39.03.60 rules govern advertising along the State highway system. The applicant can contact Justin Pond, Program Manager for ITD’s Headquarters Right-of-Way Section at (208) 334-8832 for more information. 4. ITD does not object to the construction of a Calvary Chapel church on the parcel as presented in the application.
