The Public Works Department respectfully requests the following item be placed on the
January 11 City Council agenda, under Consent Agenda, for Council's consideration:
Black Cat Lift Station. Four bids were received for this project as summarized below and
detailed in the attached spreadsheet:

The Project consists of construction of a site built, cast-in-place concrete sewage lift station,
building, site excavation, shoring, dewatering, yard piping, exposed interior piping, fittings,
valving, three(3) dry-pit non-clog centrifugal sewage pumps and related mechanical
components, bridge crane, traveling hoists, electrical and HVAC mechanical systems, site
improvements, landscaping, fencing, surfacing, and other related and miscellaneous work.
Recommended Council Action: The Public Works Department recommends
that City Council approves the contract for the Black Cat Lift Station with JC
Constructors, Inc, Inc for $2,565,000.00 and authorize the Mayor to sign it.
