HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC - ITD Reply April 10, 2018 C.Jay Coles Meridian City Clerk’s Office 33 East Idaho Avenue Meridian, Idaho 83642 VIA EMAIL RE: H-2018-0027 FP BICENTENNIAL FARM SUBDIVISION NO 1 The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) has reviewed the referenced final plat application by Toll ID, LLC for Bicentennial Farm Subdivision No. 1 consisting of 47 buildable lots, 11 common lots, and 1 other lot on a parcel located at 3880 East Lake Hazel Road, east of SH-69 milepost 6.20. ITD has the following comments: 1. This project does not abut the State highway system. 2. The City is reminded that the I-84/ Eagle Rd interchange is already congested. This project will increase the number of vehicle trips on the interchange. ITD has no current funding assigned to mitigate traffic congestion on the I-84/Eagle Rd interchange. 3. IDAPA 39.03.60 governs advertising along the State highway system. The applicant may contact Justin Pond, Program Manager for ITD’s Headquarters Right-of-Way Section at 334-8832 for more information. 4. Idaho Code 40-1910 does not allow advertising within the right-of-way of any State highway. 5. ITD does not object to the construction of a subdivision on the parcel. If you have any questions, you may contact Shona Tonkin at (208) 334-8341or me at 332-7190. Sincerely, Ken Couch Development Services Coordinator Ken.Couch@itd.idaho.gov
