RE: H-2018-0016 AZ - ANNEXATION AND ZONING FIRE STATION NO. 6
The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) has reviewed the annexation and zoning application by
the City of Meridian to construct a fire station on a parcel located at 1435 West Overland Road, south
of I-84 milepost 43.12. ITD has the following comments:
1. This property does not abut the State highway system.
2. Idaho Code 40-1910 does not allow advertising within the right-of-way of any State
highway.
3. IDAPA 39.03.60 governs advertising along the State highway system. The applicant
may contact Justin Pond, Program Manager for ITD’s Headquarters Right-of-Way
Section at 334-8832 for more information.
4. ITD does not object to the annexation and zoning application as presented.
