RE: H-2018-0015 FP FALL CREEK MEADOWS SUBDIVISION NO. 2
The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) has reviewed the final plat application by Thomas
Coleman of Toll ID I, LLC represented by JUB Engineers Inc. for Fall Creek Meadows Subdivision
No.2 consisting of 43 building lots and 3 common lots on a parcel located south of West Overland on
the east side of South Linder Rd., south of I-84 milepost 43.32. ITD has the following comments:
1. This property does not abut the State highway system.
2. The City is reminded that the I-84 and SH-69 (Meridian Road) corridors are already
congested. This project will increase the number of vehicle trips in these corridors. As
the City continues to add additional trips to these corridors through development, the
congestion will worsen until the roadway system ultimately is overloaded and fails.
ITD has no current funding assigned to mitigate traffic congestion in the I-84 and SH-
69 (Meridian Road) corridors in this area.
3. Idaho Code 40-1910 does not allow advertising within the right-of-way of any State
highway.
4. IDAPA 39.03.60 governs advertising along the State highway system. The applicant
may contact Justin Pond, Program Manager for ITD’s Headquarters Right-of-Way
Section at 334-8832 for more information.
5. ITD does not object to the construction of a subdivision on the parcel.
If you have any questions, you may contact me at 332-7190 or Shona Tonkin at (208) 334-8341.
Sincerely,
