Dear Mr. Berg:
The Idaho Transportation Department has reviewed your submittal regarding the above
referenced development.
This section of State Highway 69 has been designated a Principal Arterial. ITD would like
County and the City of Meridian to help us preserve this corridor by recognizing the following
conditions. We would request the following requirements of the development:
1. Building setbacks for future right of way widths will be a minimum 000 feet each side
of centerline (140 feet total).
2. The development provide cross access connectivity to adjacent parcels along the
highway.
The developer has obtained an access permit (permit # 3-05-011) for a shared .use access
approach with the neighboring parcel markeôFuture Valley Shepard Church meeting the above
referenced requirements. This permit will require the development and construction of a
deceleration lane at the developer's expense to the shared use access and to Victory Road.
Please let me know what we need to do to insure that these stipulations are included in the
development documents. Your efforts in the preservation of the SH-69 corridor are appreciated.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel tYee to contact me at (208) 334-8924.
