RE: H-2018-0002 SHP SAGEWOOD COMMONS SUBDIVISION
The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) has reviewed the short plat application by Russ Hunemiller and
Dirk Marcum, representing Engineering Solutions, LLP for four (4) office lots on 1.91 acres of land, located
at 1055 West Overland Road, Meridian, Idaho, south of I-84 milepost 43.40. ITD has the following
comments:
1. This property does not abut the State highway system.
2. The City is reminded that the I-84 and SH-69 corridors are already congested. This project will
increase the number of vehicle trips in this corridor. ITD has no current funding assigned to
mitigate traffic congestion in the I-84 and SH-69 corridors near this location.
3. Idaho Code 40-1910 does not allow advertising within the right-of-way of any State highway.
4. IDAPA 39.03.60 governs advertising along the State highway syst em. The applicant may contact
Justin Pond, Program Manager for ITD’s Headquarters Right-of-Way Section at 334-8832 for
more information.
5. ITD does not object to the short plat application for four (4) office lots as described.
