Do you have any specific suggestions, comments, or concerns regarding the proposed text amendments
to the City of Meridian Comprehensive Plan?
I agree with the open space along the top of the rim. The view of the valley and
mountains helps sell large homes and lots.
I DO NOT agree with the 114 mile buffer below the rim. Especially on the flat
ground where there is NO longer a view (to sell larger homes and lots).
I've lived on my 20 acres on Amity for 35+ years and have seen my view and style
of living taken away for progress. I am now surrounded by 3-4 homes per acre
with Estancia. Paisley Meadows and White Bark Subdivisions.
I do not believe that the fewer homes concept is good revenue for Meridian's
infrastructure (sewer expansion). Are the new neighbors now practicing "not in
my backyard"?
Do you have any other general questions or comments for the City of Meridian regarding the City of
Meridian Comprehensive Plan?
Leave pian as is. The market will dictate where large homes can be built.
