RE: H-2017-0158 FP KENTUCKY RIDGE ESTATES SUBDIVISION
The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) has reviewed the referenced final plat application for Kentucky Ridge
Estates Subdivision consisting of 19 building lots and three (3) common lots submitted by Tim Mokwa of Hayden-
Homes for T&M Holdings. The site is located east of S. Linder Rd. and south of W. Victory Rd. at 1100 W. Riodosa
Dr., Meridian, Idaho 83642, west of SH-69 milepost 7.93. ITD has the following comments:
1. This project does not abut the State highway system.
2. The City is reminded that the I-84/ Meridian Rd. interchange is already congested. This project will increase
the number of vehicle trips on the interchange. ITD has no current funding assigned to mitigate traffic
congestion on the I-84/Meridian Rd. interchange.
3. IDAPA 39.03.60 governs advertising along the State highway system. The applicant may contact Justin Pond,
Program Manager for ITD’s Headquarters Right-of-Way Section at 334-8832 for more information.
4. Idaho Code 40-1910 does not allow advertising within the right-of-way of any State highway.
5. ITD does not object to the construction of a subdivision on the parcel.
