Hey there,
Someone just submitted your form on meridiancity.org. Here's what they had to say:
Request for Mayor and Council
Name Jeff VanSickel
_replyto jbvanfam@gmail.com
2
Street Address 12252 W Muir Ridge Drive
City Meridian
State Idaho
Zip Code 83709
Subject Movado Development
Message Mayor and City Council,
Good Morning and Merry Christmas.
I'm sure that you are now well aware of the concern that the residents of the
Sutherland Farms Neighborhood and the Muir Woods Neighborhood have with the
Movado housing development not having street access to Cloverdale Road. Most of
us understand that you were unable to do anything about this issue at the City
Council Meeting last night, but I was surprised to find our that the Meridian City
staff indicating that they provided a recommendation that access to Cloverdale from
the Movado development not be required during the ACHD public meeting last
year. Mr. Conger was not honest with the Mayor and City Council when he
indicated that there was never access to Cloverdale shown to the concerned
neighboring residents during the public meetings for the Movado development, as I
have pictures from the meeting that was held at Pepper Ridge elementary school on
January 12, 2016 which clearly shows road access to Cloverdale (which I shared with
the Mayor and City Council last night). This issue is not going to go away and will
more than likely result in speed bumps being installed in the Muir Woods and
Sutherland Farms neighborhoods in order to try to slow drivers down, but the
increased traffic through our neighborhoods, from the Movado development, is still
going to be an issue, since the road access to Cloverdale out of the Movado
development was not required by ACHD or the City of Meridian.
