Subject:Movado Subdivision Road Dilema
Please pass on to the Meridian Mayor and the Meridian City Council our concerns with the lack of sufficient
traffic ingress and egress to the Movado Subdivision Development.
The 526 homes and 112 unit apartments in the Movado development will generate over 1200 additional
vehicles getting in and out of Movado. Both E. Copper Point Drive & E. Pewter Falls roads transition through
business development and Movado Way doesn't even have a traffic light planned for access to Overland.
In addition there is NO road access onto Cloverdale. ACHD signed off off this situation without holding a
public hearing.
The effect of having insufficient controlled road access, many of the 1200+ vehicles will flow through
Sutherland Farms and Muir Woods subdivisions to take their children to Pepper Ridge Elementary and access
Cloverdale for other means.
Recommend this project be tabled until coordination can be made with ACHD to include a direct access to
Movado from Cloverdale Road.
Request this email be made a part of the record for the Meridian City Council December 5, 2017 meeting.

I am a homeowner in the Muir Woods subdivision that is adjacent to the Movado Subdivision.
I am opposed to the traffic plan for this Subdivision because it will result in greatly increased traffic volume
through Muir Woods Sub.
Without a direct connection from Movado to Cloverdale Road the residents with kids at Pepperwood school
will route around through our sub to get to Cloverdale and to get to Eagle road going south.
This is bad planning.
Please require the developer to install another means of Egress from Movado going east to Cloverdale Road.
