I want to go on record and express my concern over the Movado Greens subdivision. While I am not opposed to development, I want to sure be the City of Meridian City Council is properly mitigating impacts to my and my neighbors safety, enjoyment of our properties and value of our properties. I expect that a development of this size will generate many traffic trips along my road, which will impact my property, especially since there is no direct connection to S Cloverdale as part of this project. This seems irresponsible in light of traffic planning standards and designs. What are the mitigation measures for this anticipated increase in traffic along my road? How are you caring for existing property owners? How about an access to S Cloverdale? How about providing emergency access only through Copper Point Way? I understand that the Ada County Highway District may not have been consulted as needed through the design process. What would the results of this consultation be and what are potential recommendations? Would an access to S Cloverdale result? I think you must delay approval of the modifications until all concerns and mitigation measures are clearly defined and addressed in an open manner.
