Marina Daycare April 2016 Narrative I am currently looking into establishing an infant child care program within my home located at 261 W Indian Rocks St. We will follow city guidelines and care for the allowed number of children (54), taking into consideration the recommended adult to infant ratio, from ages 0-24 months. We are hoping to start this program in the summer of 2017. Although we have yet to precisely determine program services, hours, parent fees, etc., ideally the program will operate on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. However, since we cannot currently determine parents' work schedules, children may arrive over a period of one or more hours earlier in the morning and leave one or more hours later in the afternoon. This staggered schedule will help to reduce the number of vehicles likely to stop at the home at one time, as will siblings or carpoolers arriving together. Parents will be required to escort children safely to and from cars to the home. By implementing these measures, my business will not increase traffic congestion or dangers on our street. While children are in my care, only my husband and/or I will be responsible for their supervision at all times, including all indoor and outdoor activities and play. During good weather, I currently anticipate outdoor play time to be one to two hours in the morning after 8:00am and one to two hours after 1:00pm and noise will be kept below the maximum stipulated by city officials. Children will be supervised in back yard area, with wooden fence of 6 feet surrounding the property. We are intending to get certification from Idaho STARS as well as from the city of Meridian, as soon as possible, following all child safety and health guidelines as recommended. I have previously been certified in the city of Boise as a childcare provider and have the experience of working with infant through K12 age children for over 12 years professionally. My husband and I both have pediatric CPR and first aid certification. We will not be providing transportation for students at any time. -Nancy Hunter 261 W Indian Rocks St Meridian, ID 83646 541-212-1978 nancylynnwa@gmail.com ADA COUNTY RECORDER J.
