Subject: Application H-2017-0117 by WHPacific
City of Meridian:
I wish the following to be put forward at the hearing on December 5, 2017
at 6pm at city hall.
Please consider the following before voting on the application:
1.There needs to be a dedicated turn lane added for turn into the subdivision off of black cat road. The
builder does not want to pay for this. Without the turn, it will cause traffic congestion and accidents.
2. There are no parks in the subdivision, only a water drain area that they are trying to pass off as a park.
3. The current pond water level is not going down as they would have you believe. It is still full of waterfowl
4. No one trespasses on the land as has been put forward at prior meetings,
again we have misrepresentation.
5. The density is too great for size of subdivision, I know it brings the city more taxes which they can use, but it
will bring a lot more people to the oaks to use our parks. It allows CB company to build a dense subdivision
with no parks for recreation, just go next door to the oaks, convenient since there will be a road opened up
from the Oaks to the proposed subdivision.
Please City Council, look at this closely, I know this will probably pass, it is progress, but can you not make
some changes, like less houses, more parks.
Please consider. Thank you.
