RE: H-2017-0140 PP TIMBERLINE SUBDIVISION
The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) has reviewed the referenced preliminary plat application by Bailey
Investments, LLC for Timberline Subdivision consisting of 59 single family residential lots and 8 common lots
located at 655 and 735 West Victory Road, west of SH-69 (South Meridian Road) milepost 8.00. ITD has the
following comments:
1. This project does not abut the State Highway system.
2. The City is reminded that the SH-69 corridor is already congested. This project will increase the
number of vehicle trips in the corridor. ITD has no current funding assigned to mitigate traffic
congestion in the SH-69 corridor in this area.
3. Idaho Code 40-1910 does not allow advertising within the right-of-way of any State highway system.
4. IDAPA 39.03.60 rules govern advertising along the State highway system. The applicant may contact
Justin Pond, Program Manager for ITD’s Headquarters Right-of-Way Section at 334-8832 for more
information.
5. ITD does not object to construction of a subdivision on this parcel.
